Some moments at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I got a chance to see all this year 5 academy award nominated directors at one place! Alfonso Cuarón (Roma), Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite), Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman), Adam McKay (Vice), and Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War)!
 I am very happy to announce that our Vostok N 20 will have it’s American premiere in the 16th Big Sky Documentary film festival in Montana.
Directed by a good friend of mine Elisabeth Silveiro, music created by talented Evgueni Galperine (best European composer 2017 in EFA for Loveless), poems of Marina Tsvetaeva are read by legendary french actress Fanny Ardant, produced by Claire Chassagne, sound recording by Галина Дудякова and colour post production by MADSTONE. Long story short: Elisabeth has found me after watching my successfully travelling short film WINTER at one of the film festivals and has invited to join on another journey by train, but this time Moscow - Beijing and gather some material for her new film. And that’s what we did. However, due to financial issues, we never had a chance to come back, so we used that material to make Vostok N20. Friday morning started quite early on National Broadcast LRT show “Labas Rytas” with Ignas Krupavičius. I feel huge support from all media from Lithuania these days ♥
Today I was visiting 15min. live streaming studio and talked about films, reaching the goal and many other things. Thanks to Karolis Banevičius and 15min. for spreading the word! The streaming went so quickly and I haven’t had a time to thank for all my supporters which are so many.
Those, who suggest getting the loan, don’t know that in Lithuania I could have one, only if I study here. In America, when you are not USA citizen it is very complex, bet yes I am trying to get my visa and will try to get more information on that.
